World pleasure boating has landed at the "Dubai International Boat Show", the 29th edition of the most prestigious showcase in the Middle East which closes today and which attracted over 30,000 visitors from all over the world. Just over 400 brands on the catwalk, including two from Bergamo , Riva (Ferretti Group) for the shipyards and Besenzoni for the access points, both from Samico.Riva, controlled by the Romagna-based Ferretti Group, presents two boats in Du-bai, the sport-fly «Riva 88 Folgore», previews -ma absolute and the «Riva100' Corsaro» flybridge, both in production at the Ligurian site of LaSpezia. In these days, Riva also announced the sale of the first 54-metre, aluminum super boat under construction at the Superyachts Division shipyard in Ancona, futuristic shipyard where the Ferretti Group boats between 50 and 90 meters in length are built. Besenzoni is also present in the Middle East, landed with its own range of products dedicated to packaging rcations of any type and size. «These are more than positive years for the sector, with exports leading the way, clarifies Giorgio Besenzoni at the helm of the company and son of the founder Giovanni Besenzoni, and the Middle East represents a luxury showcase not to be missed to offer innovative and prestigious products for large hulls, from multifunctional electric ladders to helm seats. Challenges for a growing sector increasingly oriented towards sustainability, in the awareness that Italy occupies a role of world domination in the production of superyachts, with Italian shipyards that have detached just under 50% of world orders for boats of greater length to 24 meters to be built (already in 2022 there were 590 projects to be carried out in boats). The Dubai showcase anticipates the great exhibitions of the Mediterranean, in Cannes (September 12-17), Genoa (September 21-26) and Montecarlo (September 27-30).
