News for the Besenzoni App: gangways and ladders are operated via phones and tablets.
Besenzoni Unit Control (BUC) is the name of the Besenzoni App, and has now been updated with new bluetooth features to use smartphones and tablets as a remote control not only for gangways, but also for multifunctional hydraulic ladders. The application remains free and compatible with IOS and Android systems.
Retractable gangways and multifunction hydraulic ladders can now be moved with a simple touch on your smartphone or tablet, without however "throwing" the remote control that was until now the only remote control tool.
The convenience of the new Besenzoni App is that the smartphone has now become an anatomical extension of our body, so it is much more immediate to re-enter and exit the gangway or raise and lower the ladder through the phone which, more of the tablet, we always wear. But it is also a question of safety and practicality, because you don't always remember to take the remote control with you when you leave the boat, and when you remember you still have an extra burden in your pocket.
The infrared or radio wave remote control, already supplied with the relative product, remains a valid tool to keep on board in order to use it at any time.
But what if you realize, for example after returning from an evening, that you have forgotten the remote control on board and in the meantime the sailor has withdrawn the gangway and went to sleep? No more attempts to jump or to wake the crew, just a touch on the phone display, as can also be seen in the video below.

The Besenzoni App is free and works both in IOS (generation 10.0 or higher) and Android (7.0 or higher), so it is compatible with all devices on the market. In addition to the management functions, the Besenzoni app also provides an interactive map of the assistance services available all over the world, which is intuitive and easy to consult when needed. Besenzoni has served 90 countries around the world with its service points for over 50 years, and 187 points of sale make up the company's sales network in 59 countries.
