These two products actually represent the state of the art in this type of accessory and will make their debut at the Cannes Boat Show 2021. They will hardly retire great classics like the typical (and appreciated) Besenzoni hydraulic gangway, but they will provide an alternative with a whole series of important advantages. From a weight point of view, for example, they are lighter and therefore consume less energy and, above all, less fuel. This new range can be managed via mobile phone with the Besenzoni Control Device APP and thanks to the installation of the Bluetooth BUC module. However, it is still possible to manage it remotely with a standard remote control. At the Venice Motor Show, where the electric was the great protagonist, we interviewed Glauco Gualtieri, Quality Engineer of Besenzoni SpA, who told us about this remarkable leap forward that the company is taking. Hydraulics-free ladders and gangways? How is it possible? They are oil-free, which translates into an important benefit for the environment, for the owner and also for whoever has to do the installation later. You no longer need a big technical factor to install such a system. Why doesn't everyone choose them? Because you need technical know-how on the one hand and the time to do research and development on the other. We've been working on this project for two years with great care. We've had to do a lot of work to adapt components that are not actually used in the nautical world. These products, which are reliable and have been used for many years in the industrial world, have been adapted by us for the nautical world. We can do laboratory tests from water to salt, but the kind of stress a ladder or gangway is under on a family cruise is the real test.
