All season cruiser The Rio Yachts fleet expands with the introduction of the new Sport Coupé 56, a model with which the Chiuduno shipyard on Lake Iseo goes to bridge the gap between the historic Colorado 44 and the recent Granturismo 60 Signed by Marino Alfani, designer with whom the yard has established a solid partnership, 56 confirms the stylistic path taken with Granturismo 60, from which it takes up the essential and most characteristic features such as windows and long ribs the bulwarks and the design of the superstructure. The Sport Coupé 56 is a yacht designed to experience the sea 360 degrees for 365 days a year. The spaces placed in continuity but separable, characterize the liveability and practicality, allowing its use both as a classic Mediterranean open dedicated to “en plein air” life and as a comfortable coupé with air-conditioned compartments protected from bad weather. Opening the glass door that separates the cockpit and the wheelhouse, the main deck can be experienced as a single open space complete with a beach on the sea with a mobile barbeque, a sunbathing living area with modular tables and a retractable electric awning, plus a more private convivial area inside close to the bridge. This consists of a suspended element in which two 12 "multifunction touchscreen monitors and two elegant Besenzoni chairs are installed. The main deck overlooks the lower one as a sort of mezzanine, allowing sunlight to penetrate up to the large kitchen which acts as a disengagement towards the cabins. The owner's cabin is fully beamed amidships, where it benefits from the two large windows right above the waterline, and offers a large double bed placed on the starboard side, an intimate relaxation area with a view of the sea on the opposite side and a generous room internal bathroom adjacent to the engine room. At the bow of the kitchen, instead, we find the guest cabin with separate beds and a VIP, both served by the same bathroom. Depending on the needs of the owner, the layouts can be personalized, being able to choose between options with two or three cabins, with the garage for the tender or with the crew cabin, the finishing materials and the furniture. The engine is entrusted to a pair of 800 HP MANs, capable of pushing the Sport Coupé 56 up to a maximum estimated speed of 35 knots. The first unit of the Rio Sport Coupé 56 is destined for an American ship owner who will sail in the North of the United States.
