Reconfirmed the value of the narrow Tuscan nautical. The Luigi Giarmeschi award assigned to Daureka II 14 December, in the splendid Art Nouveau setting of Villa Tina in Viareggio, the president Katia Balducci and the General Manager Pietro Angelini wanted to meet the NAVIGO Members not only for the traditional exchange of Greetings, but also as a moment of aggregation among the Members to promote B2B exchanges. The event was also attended by the managers of NAVIGO SARDEGNA and NAVIGO MALTA, new structures that have joined by extending the collaboration and skills of NAVIGO beyond the borders of Tuscany. NAVIGO, founded in 2007, today has about 150 members among the leading companies active in the various technological sectors and services of the Tuscan nautical sector, and represents one of the segments of excellence at the national level. NAVIGO offers companies an extensive range of services ranging from promoting the process of internationalization for companies looking for new opportunities abroad, to support services and growth of the company organization that starts with a detailed analysis of the company for propose actions for the development strategy, up to the evaluation of the possible entry by a company in the pleasure boating sector. Moreover, thanks to its capabilities, it coordinates on behalf of the Tuscany Region the network of Tuscan nautical competence centers through the PENTA NETWORK and organizes YARE (Yachting Aftersales & Refit Experience) one of the most important international business events dedicated to the Megayachts sector. Vocational training is also part of the goals of NAVIGO, through the ISYL training school, a Higher Technical Institute created for the training of the future Megayachts Commanders and for the new professionalism of the sea. The highlight of the evening, accompanied by musical interludes, was the delivery of the "Luigi Gianneschi Innovation Award", strongly supported by the Tuscan entrepreneur family, founder of GIANNESCHI PUMPS AND BLOWERS. The prize which consists of an artistic reproduction of the Gigetta electric pump produced by the Company, has been assigned to Daureka, a company that is part of the Yachtline 1618 group, world leader in the production of furniture for mega yachts. The object of the innovative development was Fitiock®, a fastening system - totally made in Italy - at pressure designed for the assembly of walls, panels, floors, support surfaces and other similar items. In addition to Daureka, a special mention was made to Besenzoni, a Lombard company from Sarnico for the design of a submersible plank with "hydromassage" for the relaxation area aboard yachts. Other finalists were Foresti & Suardi and Frigomar, respectively for the project of the innovative portable lamp Saturno, designed for the specific need of direct application on awning poles and to create atmospheres of light, and for the Inverter BLDC (Brushless Direct Current motor) Technology, which guarantees high energy efficiency on board the air conditioning systems by controlling the speed of electric motors. NAVIGO has been able to combine quality, competence and knowledge, thus resulting in a reference model not only for the Region to which it belongs but for the entire national sector.
